AN HISTORIC WORK Achieved in 1983 by René Mattei, the model represents 12 buildings on a 1/30th scale. Built up stone by stone, it weighs about 10 tonnes. All past trades are described in minute detail. The work is completely animate. The major piece is the imposing cathedral protected by St Lucie, it weighs about 2 tonnes!
